Liz Rowland
LPGA Teaching Professional
Virginia Beach, VA

To whom it may concern:

This unsolicited letter of recommendation is offered with deep appreciation for the quality
of the golf instruction I have received from Elizabeth Rowland, and the informative manner
in which it is professionally presented. I am absolutely confident that Liz Rowland can
help anyone – from beginner to developing mid-level or advanced player – to acquire a
fundamentally sound and repeatable golf swing in the shortest possible time; provided you are
willing to listen and practice what it is she asks you to do.

Ms. Rowland was a superbly talented three-sport athlete and (1) she understands the
cause and affect of body mechanics as they relate to the different positions you need to
be in during every phase of the swing. Liz is not just a “teaching” pro; but rather (2) an
experienced “playing” professional having been on the LPGA Tour following a collegiate stent
at Arizona State University. (3) She knows what it takes to compete – to be the best you can be
– even if you choose to only compete against yourself or the course you’re playing on any given
day. Ms. Rowland was herself (4) taught by David Leadbetter and following her time on Tour
taught at the Leadbetter Academy. Liz learned how to (5) first recognize where her students
needed help, how to formulate a tailored plan for them to improve, and lastly how to convey
both the big picture and the details of what amounts to a joint effort between the instructor and
the student.

While we are from Minnesota, our daughter and her Navy pilot husband have been stationed
here for nine years; and I have been fortunate enough to visit them on a regular basis. An avid
golfer, I discovered that Ms Rowland is one of the best instructors (including the top 100 Golf
Digest instructors in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area) I have access to at a very reasonable fee.

Over the course of the brief time we have worked together, Elizabeth has helped me to become
a much more consistent and better ball striker. I also have a son who played collegiate golf at
a Big 10 University and I know what it takes for a junior player’s game to develop successfully.
Ms. Rowland can help you too – male/female, junior or adult; beginner or competitive amateur;
Liz Rowland is, in my opinion, as good as there is!

Respectfully yours,

Harvey L Turner
